The modern diet has facilitated the production of acid in our bodies. Having a high acidic body creates a hostile environment where chronic illness thrives. To restore your body you need to create a more alkaline environment. This by balancing your ph levels. There is where the Alkaline Diet comes to play.

What is an alkaline diet?


An alkaline diet is a diet that promotes health by eliminating what is called acidic food and incorporating vibrant alkaline food.


Acidic foods are meat, dairy, refined sugar, alcohol, and processed food, and alkaline food include delicious fruits and vegetables.


The alkaline diet believes the system that illness only grows in an acidic excessive environment.


This excess acidic environment is caused by modern eating habits where processed food, meat, dairy products refined sugar, alcohol are at the center of the diet.


To be able to reverse or cure diseases you have to create a more alkaline environment for your body.



What is pH levels and how does it affect our health?


pH stands for potential hydrogen. It is a scale to measure the acidity or alkalinity of your body is.


You can measure your Ph on a scale of 0 to 14. With 0-7 being acidic and 7- 14 being alkaline.


You have to see it like this.


When a soil pH level is not balanced a flour can’t flourish.


This is the same thing you. We can't experience optimal health if your pH isn’t balanced.


When our body is balanced pH it lowered to chances for chronic diseases, low immunity, and cellular damages.


It gets better.


Our bodies constantly shift and adjust to keep balanced naturally.


But the problem is that we don’t eat natural food to help the body do its work.


Our diet consists of food that has an acidifying effect on the body.


This lifestyle makes us prone to inflammation and sickness such as acne, skin diseases, bowel problems (affect how your body digests and absorbs food), depression, sleeping troubles, migraines, brain fog, weight problems, infertility.



What causes acidic in your body?


  • Unhealthy eating habits

Eating what Alkaline Diet categorize as acidic can cause acid in your body. Acidic foods are Meat, dairy, alcohol, refined sugar, processed, GMO, Hybrids food

Overeating

Eating before you go to sleep

  • Overweight & obesity

  • The side effect of Medicine: Antibiotics, certain muscle relaxers, blood pressure medications, depression anxiety medications

  • Lack of sleep

  • Stress

  • Smoking


What are the symptoms of an acidic person?


  • Digestive Problem: makes digestive more complicated

  • Anxiety & Depressed could be a symptom

  • Bloating

  • Burping


Benefits of the alkaline diet


The alkaline diet help prevents and some cases even reverse chronic illness from our body. But it can also help you with:

  • Restful sleep

  • Improvement in mood and happiness level

  • Weight Loss

  • Clear skin

  • Reduce fatigue and increase in energy

  • Healthy muscles




What do you eat on an alkaline diet?


Most of the food we eat releases an acid or an alkaline base in the blood.


Although the alkaline diet encourages to eat fruits and vegetables, not ALL are eligible.


According to the teaching of Dr. Sebi, some fruits and vegetables are GMO and hybrids. These are not good for you.


GMO is genetically modified is when an organism is being modified in a laboratory.


This means that it is not in its original form anymore.


Hybrids are when combining the organism from two different species to create something this is previously nonexistent.


It’s not natural and this not good for you.

Overcome self-doubts before changing your diet (alkaline plant-based diet)

I totally understand how you feel and a lot of beginners in healthy eating felt the same way.


When I started the healthy lifestyle journey I was a student. So what I have found that the kitchen staples are cheaper than meat.


Look at it this way.


You are going to have to pay up anyway.


Either you are going for high-quality food that is going to give you energy and enrich your life today or you are going to pay for medical bills later in life.


Which one do you want?
